Mia was eventually caught in Kalyves were she was spotted by a volunteer over the New Year with a partial traumatic amputation of her tail. In a terrible state with the cold & wet weather she needed plenty of warmth, TLC & food. Last week she was operated on to remove what was left of the tail and Mia is recovering really well.

Xmas Kitty’s
A little bit early…but they need help now
Betty (tabby & white) 11 weeks of age came in unconscious no temperature she was so cold, her right eye was bulging and bleeding she was not moving. Next day we realised she was paralysed from the hips hit by a car we think laying in the wet and cold all night.

Pippy
We need your help to find a home for Pippy kitten she came in eyes stuck shut suffering hideous cat flu. Once the antibiotics worked and her eyes opened we realised she had eyes but they were not working.

This very affectionate cat (who in the past has had many kittens) visited her UK cat lovers every summer. Last year she was neutered in the Dimos program, however on their return this year they where distraught to see her covered in weeping infected burns, without intervention she would have died a very painful death from infection.
Distressingly for all concerned we guess she had been set alight with lighter fuel.
She was brought to us for emergency treatment and is being nursed back health.

She will remain with us for medication, rest & neutering prior to her adoption in the UK. July 2018 now happily with her UK adopters
Timmothy

Here is Timmothy, this little chap is eight weeks old but so emaciated & sick he weighs the same as a four week old kitten. He was brought in dying from cat flu, initially we all thought he was blind, but after eye drops and antibiotics 3 days ago he opened his eyes. We are tentatively optimistic, but he has a long way to go. We need donations for his veterinary care, rehabilitation and adoption.
