We have a very sad and terrified adult cat (probably female) we suspect has either been lost or abandoned, does anyone recognize this cat? If we cannot find an owner we will have to bring her in for adoption as clearly she will not last the winter and her coat will matt causing pain and infection. Any help appreciated October 2017: Fluffy has settled in well here, a gentle loving lady, we are sure she will find a loving home once she is at Woodland Nook
This adorable OAP arrived from the Gavalochori area with a pink collar & bell, she is so affectionate she must have been owned by someone.
Is anyone missing a frail & wobbly elderly cat with no teeth! ‘Flossie’ as we have named her is nearing the end of her days & needs warmth, hugs & nursing.
If anyone recognises her please tell her owners or contact us.
12/08/13 Update:
The Pfötli (‘little feet’) Animal Rescue Service in Winkel, Zurich said it had taken charge of the cat, reckoned to be between two and three months old, on Monday.
Until now the male kitten had been cared for by a vet.
“He is a fighter and has got over his fever,” the shelter said on its website.
“He is a little shy at the moment, just sitting in his box, but he miaows when we speak to him.”
The shelter said a lot of people had expressed an interest in adopting the kitten but it would be several weeks before he could be released.
It said anyone interested in taking Oscar Fox should enquire in four weeks’ time.
Continue reading “Oscar Fox Stowaway”Lucy remains here with us; we paid for her dental surgery this week as after having her eye removed she was still in severe pain with lots of difficulty eating. On veterinary examination she had broken infected teeth caused by being kicked or struck with a heavy object left side of her face, poor brave girl. Lucy is now lying by the fire & recovering well.
Does anyone recognize Lucy? she has a very distinctive tash & beard, we think she may have strayed and would love to identify her true owners.

We have found our cat !
He was locked in a motor yacht next to our boat. The owner came back yesterday and open his boat. The cat escaped from his boat and came back to our boat !
