Prologue

This is the story of two little kittens; not just any kittens; Antigone and Calliope. Two little Cretan street cats who I found while I was on Holiday to Crete in October 2024; only a few weeks old.

While Antigone may be named after a Greek heroine who suffered a tragic fate; the Greek gods blessed me fortuitously with the incredible work of Cat’s Pyjama’s and Amber’s Hope aswell as a wonderful lady named Nicola and these kittens were saved from unthinkable consequences; and all thanks to them; these kittens are happy, thriving; and saved from the tragic fate many kittens born in Crete face.

This year has been particularly bad as it’s been so hot and dry. So many sick and injured cats needing help. The vets bills have been upwards of €2000 a month! There’s no money left for travel tickets! Obviously if anyone would like to adopt one of the blind cats please contact us

Hey spooky people!! Get your seats before they are gone! Message Jaws for Paws for reservations! Jaws for paws will be at Apicorno Cafe in Kalyves on the following Tuesdays: October 15th, 22nd & 29th.

Stop by to see one of our Jaws team… and maybe stay for lunch too! This is always a fun filled party with loads of creative costumes… get your face paints and fake blood out!

Entertainment will be by the duo Mistaken ID playing a great mix of music all evening!
