The Animal Action and innovative, British natural cosmetics company Lush subsidizes neutering stray cats in Athens.
The sterilization program will be held throughout the month of October and will be a targeted effort to reduce the large stray cat population in Athens. Sterilization is the only humane and scientifically proven method of stray management. One has only to think of an entire or undesexed, stray cat can arise over 5,000 kittens in 5 years! The neutering of stray animals in Greece either by mobile veterinary team either via partner veterinary clinics is a key action for Animal Action. Only then will we achieve the desired result of reducing the large number of strays living in the streets of Greece.
The pragramma sterilization carried out by means of voluntary group ‘Eftapsychon’ Friends of Animals organization for cats that carry out activities in Athens.
Remains remarkable that a foreign company without a branch in Greece, shows the social person in such a vulnerable group such as stray animals. The Animal Action did grant application to Lush, the beginning of the year, since the income of our organization have declined dramatically due to the ongoing economic crisis. Simultaneously, the crisis itself is causing the increasing abandonment of animals owned roads. The Lush, understanding the magnitude of the problem, he decided to support Greece in general and the ‘astegazoakia in particular.
The Animal Action Lush especially grateful for the sensitivity and practical care provided to our country in these difficult times. We also thank ‘Eftapsyches’ for their voluntary offer and the team of veterinarians providing services in the general spirit of caring for animals ..
