Home / Released to the wild / Cilla & Spiros 2
Two waifs from a colony we were called in to assist by ex pats helping the Greek owner to feed and care for his cats in Kambia. Many of the cats are diseased and in distress, ringworm, mange, cat flu some we think suffering end stage FIV/FeLV.
The immediate concern is treating the worse cases, supplying good nutrition and neutering the colony to bring the numbers down to a manageable level.
Spiros has returned after a month of treatment for parasite overlaod, mange and ear mites he was delighted to be back in the sunshine.
Cilla remained she had pneumonia her sinus bones damaged from untreated cat flu. Completed 21 days of antibiotics and has put on weight.Sadly we cannot do any more for her it will return in cold weather but she will be going back tomorrow to enjoy the summer.
