Shelby

On Monday (15th) morning this tiny bin cat was found collapsed in the middle of the road. He was in a really bad way and after a speed breaking run to the vet, the worst was confirmed. He was infested with worms, fleas and maggots. Bleeding from the mouth, emaciated, swollen infected eyes, severely dehydrated, in liver failure and suffering from hypothermia.

Shelby kitten thanks everyone for their good wishes, blessings & donations

Pollyanna

Seasons Greetings! We are appealing on behalf of partially sighted Pollyanna who is desperate for a home.

Found wandering the streets of Kalyves this young tortoiseshell female (approx 2 years of age) was underweight unable to hunt for food she would have starved this winter. Pollyanna has damaged corneas from old cat flu, neutered, all blood tests normal (FIV/FeLV negative) she is now fit and healthy.

Her vision is better at a distance not so good when close to objects as she cannot focus. She plays with her toys, uses her litter tray, very loving and affectionate she is very active behaving like any other cat except she can startle easily and needs pointing in the right direction sometimes.

Pollyanna would be safer as an indoor cat or allowed into a secluded garden as she is used to being outside.

If you wish to adopt or know anyone who might please contact us otherwise we need to raise the funds to send her to Woodland Nook in the UK for re homing.

Kitten in need

This little feral stray chap was reported to us by some kind Danish tourists staying in a villa in Vamos. He has a large wound on the back of his head, this has now been cleaned under general anaesthetic (he was also neutered at this time) and he is recuperating with us. He should be able to return to the villa this week if the wound continues to heal. He has also had an MOT including ear cleaning and parasite treatment.

Lost/abandoned, does anyone recognise her?

We have a very sad and terrified adult cat (probably female) we suspect has either been lost or abandoned, does anyone recognize this cat? If we cannot find an owner we will have to bring her in for adoption as clearly she will not last the winter and her coat will matt causing pain and infection. Any help appreciated October 2017: Fluffy has settled in well here, a gentle loving lady, we are sure she will find a loving home once she is at Woodland Nook

five more binned kittens

Twizzle

As usual this time of year people seem to think its acceptable to rip kittens away still feeding from Mummy too abandon them in the nearest bin.
This little one is approximately 4 weeks of age, Twizzle is female (her ginger and white brother was adopted 27/5/17) pining on her own she went to her foster mummy Heather.
Twizzle is very confident and vocal, healthy & playing with no signs of cat flu or any infections so far, as usual she will be vaccinated and neutered.

This other poor little soul was picked up off the street next to the bins eyes glued shut by pus.

She has pneumonia and maybe blind in her right eye, very frail but responding well to the antibiotics a delightful kitten. When she is infection free and back to health we will need a loving home for her.
These little ones need adopters to come forward anywhere in Europe, donations towards their care would be appreciated.

Two more abandoned in the cemetery, baking in the sun…
