This gentle loving female heavily pregnant was left on the streets slowly losing her eyes for the want of a vet visit and simple eye drops. By the time she was rescued she was blind her ears scorched and scarred by the sun. Sadly her left ear required surgery to remove the skin cancer that developed. Euthanasia was discussed but such a gentle creature who would do well in a safe environment once healed deserved a chance, sadly her kittens did not make it. Very affectionate she will take another month to recover and needs to gain the confidence to explore her surroundings and use her whiskers and other senses. Blood tests showed negative for FIV/FeLV her kidneys and liver function are normal. 25/04/2017 update Now running around getting used to her whiskers there is no stopping her! Recovering well from her recent surgery she is now pain free, playing and talking to us. We need to raise the funds for her aftercare and find a loving, safe home obviously indoors. If you cannot adopt please donate towards giving her a new life. 22/05/2017 Alathea remains with us looking for a home, her coat is silky soft and she continues to gain confidence in moving around and is very vocal!
